Sprint tower within 7 blocks, low signal - Motorola Q Forum

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. My problem is that according to the sprint site there was a tower recently build 0.80 miles from my house, yet i get a very low signal inside my house and no more than 3 outside. i have heard there is something that can be done about this. can u guys ligthen me on what to do or who to call.

Have you seen this tower yet?

yes. i have heard of people doing tower firmware, how do i do this?

Any updates? Supposed to have great coverage in my area but I get 1 bar maximum.. Switches from EVDO to 1x and vice versa way too often...

this same problem is happening to me. it switches from EVDO to 1x often too. i got my phone recently and when ordered it the lady said if i had low signal i could give her a call to do some network troubleshooting. have u tried any of these?? i will try calling her tomorrow and updating u guys.

Ask her to reprovision your phone on the network.
