Default Sprint Q defaults to homescreen after a few seconds

Whenever I'm in a data session, like checking hotmail for instance or waiting for a page to load, if I'm not touching any keys, the display bounces back to the homescreen [requiring the <-- back key]
Is this by design? If so, how can I stop it from going to the home screen?

(I'm concerned that it might be a problem with my Q - and I haven't found a definitive answer elsewhere)

Thanks

(UPDATE: VTDr0p0ut's suggestion did the trick. Thanks!)

Verizon Q's do the samething... there is a setting called Homescreen Timeout -- you can change it by going to Start -> Settings Home Screen, then change teh Time out to whatever you want (or Never). I have mine set to 30 mins.

There is another issue other than Homescreen Timeout. My Q started doing that. I happened to be by the VZW store. They looked at it and watched it. It was not the timeout. They did a hard reset (aarrgghh) and it stopped doing it.

It's funny, it happened soon after I did the DST update. Related? I don't know.
