wow.... 3 companies i deal with (both personal and business wise) and they may not be the best, still ok in my book.

besides from the inconsistency with Verizon csr's.

Rating or review Customer Service 'Q'uandry

I was a sprint customer for about seven years,and although in that time the customer service was on average pretty good, I didn't find out what truely great customer service was until I switched to Verizon. Without exception, every time I've had reason to call, whether it be regular rep. or tech service, I have always been treated with courtesy and respect, by a knowledgeable and enthustiastic rep.

Sorry to ramble, I just had to plug VERIZON!

While Sprint's "outsourced" support hasn't been that great (you get what you pay for.... I'd rather they cut costs there than on the network), Verizon hasn't been stellar. While there are a few good-eggs (as there are with any company), I have encountered some real .... ignorant CSR's. Of all the major support companies I've had to deal with (Dell, Gateway, Microsoft, Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, SunCom, nTelos, Comcast, NSBE, Adelphia,...) Verizon has been one of the best regarding wait-times and overall end-of-call satisfaction --- but knowledgeable and enthusiastic is far-and-few between in my experience :-p

Sprint service sucks - not surprise here. I used to love the service I got from Nextel.... then the merged with sprint and the quality of customer support and service fell to '0'.

I, for one, have had excellent support from Verizon, both in the store and on the phone. The latest example was on Friday 3 days ago. I managed to fall into the lake with my Q safely stowed inside a zipped pocket inside my pants (clearly nothing bad could happen to it there, right?). After drying out for several hours, it would only buzz when I put the battery back in and turned it on. I called Verizon when I got home, got all the information I needed from them, was forwarded to Assurion (the insurance I pay for monthly, thank God), and they were also very helpful. Best of all, the replacement phone is waiting for me at home right now (I called about 8PM Friday).
