Default Speed dial issue

I've had a Q for less than a week, and everything works fine, except for the speed dial. I can use it just fine, i've assigned some contact numbers to first few slots (2-10) and some shortcuts (task manager, file manager, etc) to the upper slots (90-99).

It seems like after a while of playing with the speed dial to bring up the apps i've assigned or dial numbers, the speed dial stops responding. i'll press and hold a number, and nothing happens. And once it happens, it stays that way and I'm unable to get speed dials to respond. When i restart the Q it works for a while, but usually quits working after I play with it for a while.

Does anybody know why this might be happening? An option that I'm unknowingly changing or something?

Default me too.

The same thing happens to me. So far turning phone off/on cures it but only for a little while.

Same here, in fact, it just happened. It doesn't happen often, but turning the phone off and on again gets them back.
