do you know how to restore sound to the moto q after it stops working....it works when it rings but it does not work when attempting to play mpw or when trying to change ring tone.?

i dont understand...
it rings on the phone but it wont work when you try to play it in windows media player? and you cant change the ring tones?

yes the sound works when the phone rings...however when i go to sttings and sounds i cannot play any ringtones and the same when i attempt to use the media player....the only thing that works in sounds is vibrate....also, when i have the volume up it is white noise like speakers are on but nothing going to them.

I found that holding the earpiece dial in and waiting for it to appear on the screen , then turning it up the volume will return....you will then be able to hear all ringtones, plus your media files...thanks forum.

I was wondering...is that secret menu cool? what does it offer.? also, when installing a sdmini card what menu do I use to format if that is what need to be done...?

search for the secret menu and you will learn about it
and there is no need to format the card really
