ok so im new to this motorola Q phone hacking but i do ahve active sinc and have put programs and homescreens on it so but anyways can i use my phone as an ipod or is there a program that resemmbles and ipod and where do i get it. thanks

you can play mp3's with window media player (built in) or install TCPMP (free). I don't have a iDevice so not to sure what is different

like mike said you can play music and yea there are plenty of people who no longer carry a dedicated mp3 player..

Main difference is where you purchase the music from. If you use Itunes, you can't download directly to the phone. Files have to be converted from itunes m4a format, to mp3 format. (Easiest way is to burn a disc from itunes library...the music automatically converts to mp3 & can now be put on Q. I have purchased music from aol.music.com and these show up. Music from my cd's don't. I'm extremely confident that RB will figure this out for me, & tell me what I'm doing wrong ;)

Now where's the fun in figuring us out? I'm married almost 19 years, and I work with my husband. He still can't figure me out completely. I guess that's why were still married...he's gonna die trying.


If you can figure out the ringtone editor and why some of my folders don't transfer properly to wmp, I will be eternally greatful!
