Default So having used the Q for a week now

It's the best smartphone I've used to date and am very happy with it. The registry hacks helped speed it up a bit and I've gotten used to doing things without a touch screen. However, there are still 2 things that prevent me from reaching nirvana. No indicator lights and the damn PDA icon that shows up seemingly at random times that prevents me from getting a data connection (requiring me to powercycle the phone to get rid of it). Why doesn't "Flight mode" cancel this? GGRRRR A quicker way to kill-all apps would be nice to The screen on this little beauty impresses me every time I look at it. So far the standard battery has been ok for me except when I'm in my basement or some other place where signal strength is poor . . . a call in such conditions REALLY sucks the battery down.

The PDA Icon is the indication of an active data connection - how can it be preventing you from getting a data connection if you're already in one?

Because it remains there even after I have killed the data connection (via Flight mode). It happened again 3 times today. And of course while that symbol is there you can't initiate another data connection because it thinks the "line is busy". Very maddening.

Resorted to a master reset. Let's see if that fixes the problem. Interesting. After doing the master reset I had to app unlock the Q so I could reinstall Avantgo. What would our digital lives be without these little quirks?

Code no joy. The master reset did not fix the problem
