SMS Group - Problem!!!

I purchased Skb Group SMS for Smartphone recently. I have never got to use it because each time I send a text message the body of the message comes across messed up.
For example I sent a test text to myself with the single word "technology"
It came to my inbox as "t@e@c@h@n@"
I can sent text(sms) messages regularly with no problem. Its just when I use the SMS Program


I have contacted support and they said they can't find the problem. Any insight would help. I am willing to try anything at this point.

Some Background Info:
Sprint Motorola Q
1. Purchased Phone
2. App Unlocked Phone
3. Ran Motorola Update (Could be my problem)
4. Had to Unlock Phone Again after Update

Are you aware of GroupSMS by Shubaroo. AFAIK, it's free. I have a copy of the CAB file on my apps page if you need it. It will let you send SMS's to predefined groups of contacts, if that's what you're trying to do.
