Is there a way to have a new text message vibrate in normal mode and to be silent in silent mode? The only way I can find to do this is using the sounds menu and setting it each time, but this gets cumbersome.

Also, is there a way to "master silent?" IE: When phone is in silent mode, everything on the phone is silent (all programs, alerts, ect...)

You can edit your profiles to accomplish this. Go to Settings>>Profiles. Highlight a profile and then Choose Menu>>Edit.

i've tried that many times before, but there is no "none" option or "silent" option

To silent the souds set the Notification type to Play Sound and then set the Notification volume to Off. Now when you get a notification (email, SMS), nothing will happen. No sound, no vibration.

How do i erase a profile? For example i do not need OUtdoor and Silent... this would enable all my profiles to show on one screen when i enter the menu.
