I am sure it is listed somewhere else on here but I can not seem to find it with my search keywords.

What is the circle with a diagonal cut out of it at the top right of the screen where the signal reading should be? This thing pops up daily and when it is up I can not place any phone calls. Thanks.

means your phone is turned off...
hold down the home key and go to wireless manager and turn the phone on

Great. How do I keep this from happening again. It seems to happen everyday at 5:30. The reason I notice this is I leave work at this time and attempt to call my wife and never can.

thats a very good question

it will happen if for some reason you are running an alarm program that is programed to shut it off at that time

or you go in a subway or place with no signal for an extended period of time

That may be it. I have set my phone to have an appointment everyday from 8:30-5:30 and have the profile set to auto so the phone will go to vibrate all day while I am at work. I wonder if this is triggering it? It has only been happening for the past couple of weeks and I have had this set for a few months now. Weird. I hate that this is happening. I wonder if there is a bug or something in it?

turn off the appointment setting for today and just set it to vibrate manually and test it out at 530 and see what happens

Sorry for not updating earlier but everyone has been sick at my house for the past week.

That day I removed the appointment and did not have the problem at 5:30 like I used to but I did have it at 3:00 and 4:00. That afternoon on the way home I called VZ and they basically told me to do a reset that would take my phone back to factory settings. Before I was able to do that the Q had a little run in with some water (story posted here) and after it reset itself it is working great.
