hmm thats pretty disappointing since i get about 1 1/2 or more days with a regular battery fully charged...................even though it shows the battery life like that are you sure its not fully charged

Yea I have to agree with Kogama. something doesn't seem right with that at all. do you kill all apps regularly? I have bluetooth on all the time as well as backlight on 30 second timeout and I STILL get about 25-27 hours of standby time.

When not working the Q can be used for various other applications.
Personally, the only app that I kill is PDAnet and I still get at least a day's standby time. Most apps (as long as they are well written) don't need to be killed since they can sit idle and not use resources. There are a few that do need to be exited though (some of sprint's apps, WLS, GMM, and the AOL betas to name a few)
I always kill apps but I've also tested without any apps running all day. And I'm not sure it's fully charged but I've kept it on the charger for 12 hours one day, I figure that should be plenty of time...
Something does seem wrong but I can't figure it out.
You dont need to keep the charger on the Q after its fully charged because it doesnt charge after that..also 12 hours seems like a long time for the Q to get full battery back
oh yeah just a little help
dont constantly recharge your phone when it isnt dying youll mess up the battery and the life if it will decrease
only charge the battery when its about to die or it has 1 or 2 bars or else you'll jsut be killing your battery and worsening its efficiency in the future

the memory effect isn't quite as relevant in the Lithium Ion batteries as it was in older nickel based rechargeables. the most important charge cycle (in any rechargeable battery) is the first charge. after that it doesn't matter so much. After a few moths of testing on my batteries ( I keep two standard batteries and one extended) there isn't a noticable difference in charging methods. Although it is a good idea to let it discharge once a month or so.
Paco is correct..when it comes to battery "memory". plus now that I can see apps in the background using 0 cpu I am even more convinced that killing apps is useless..
