sharing a tether connection with mulitple computers

Hi everybody,

My friends and I are going down to quakecon in August and we are taking 3 cars down. I was hoping to hook up my phone to my laptop and be able to share the connection over wifi or to a wifi router so i the other vehicles/laptops can connect through my laptop. Is there any way with a program that anybody knows of to accomplish this?

I have tried internet connection sharing under Win XP SP2, and also tried using Mac OSX. I was unable to find a OSX driver for the phone as a modem, but if anybody knows of one we are able to share it with the Apple laptop.

So basically im running Win XP SP2, or Mac OSX and need to be able to share the connection from my phone connected with USB to other laptops. This can be done from the laptops wifi connection OR from the cat V to a wifi router then from there over wifi.

PS this is on the Verizon Network and so bluetooth is not an option. USB is the only way to tether.
