setting up email

how can i set my Q up to check my hotmail account and also to notify me when i have new email?

almost the same as Yahoo, as it is both IMAP, read this instructions from this post and apply your own/Hotmail settings as far as servers are concerned..

go to Messaging (from where you send text messages) and see "Outlook E-mail", select any in the list, click Menu > Options > New Account.

email setup asks for my name, and email address...

after i enter the info it take me straight to "pocket msn"...

any other suggestions?

it looks like i can run msn messenger in the background and it will notify me that way... i'll seet it up so i appear offline... anyone know if this will waste alot of energy?

I put my homecreen on "windows Basic" so I could erase solitar. BUt I never got a chance to it will not allow me to get out of my homescreen. ITs stuck on homescreen I can't get in my start menu... Any ideas.......
