Default Seriously need help

Well as I have done before, I needed to do a master reset. Before doing so, I copied my pim.vol to my desktop pc for backup. I reset my phone and it worked fine. I went in, renamed the new pim.vol to pim.old, copied over the correct pim.vol, and restarted the phone.

I cannot do anything - I just get a cprog.exe error and the phone is totally bricked. Doesn't even get service.

I can reverse this by replacing the empty pim.vol, but that effectively renders my phone worthless without my contacts.

I have done this backup method before and it has worked perfectly, I do not understand what is preventing my phone from recognizing the old PIM with all of my information on it.

I also tried using total commander to eliminate the problem being with my desktop PC.

I NEED my old pim.vol to work.

Any ideas?

if you still have your copy on pc, reset Q again. Copy pim.vol to a folder on Q, then use total commander or Resco to copy it from the folder to the root of device.
