I have only had to do what I would say is moderate use of my Q while using this battery. Some talking and a good bit of graphical surfing.

To sum things up, if you have a Motorola Q, you need this battery...period! I have used the 1640 mah battery for over a year and would get so mad because my dang battery would be near dead by 4-6 pm on some days. Some days it would make it until bedtime.

Right now, I am on my forth day with this one and it is 8:00 pm and I am still showing 50% battery life. This is off of one single charge, the very first charge since I have owned the battery. This battery comes with a new cover and it does stick out further than the 1640 cover, but I do not care, I love having battery life.

THIS IS JUST INCREDIBLE!

I purchased the blue Verizon case when I bought may phone and it still fits perfect in it, even with this 3200 battery.

I actually came into this thread to ask about the case....which case is it you have? I have a plastic holster that holds the phone face in, but are there any other cases that will fit this big ass battery?

Ok, today is day 5 and my Q started out with 25% battery life and now it is 7:30 pm and I am still showing 25% battery life, again this is from one charge.

Case question:

My Q came with the standard black leather/vinyl case, which I have not used. I purchased one from the Verizon store the day I bought my Q. It is a blue leather case with Verizon on the metal piece, that has a single strap over the top middle part of it and snaps on the front. The case pulls apart at the top for my Q to slide down into it. On the inside is a label that says:

USA Wireless PDAPOUCHBLU-B. Here is a picture of my phone with the battery and my case:

This image is hosted at photobucket, if it is to big or a problem, let me know and I can delete it or change it.

I hope that helps!

Well, I have this one now,

http://store.everythingq.com/content...4-24--1013.htm

And of course that wouldn't be a problem, but I hate holsters because they mutilate the phone case.

I have the 1550 extended battery and plane on getting this 3200 but I want something like this,

http://store.everythingq.com/content...4-20--3161.htm

But I just dont know if it will fit...

I really don't care how big it makes my Q, I just love being able to use my Q without having to worry my battery will die any minute...that's priceless

Krunk_Kracker,
That case says it requires the slim line battery and door, so I doubt it will work with this 3200 mah battery. But nice looking case.

I had the body glove with my original Q. When I got the Q9c it wouldn't fit. It says that it will but the fit was too snug for my liking. I haven't been able to find a case that I like to fit the Q9c with the extended battery.

[I have had the 3200mah battery and I use a soft neoprene case for it (it works well with many different phones).

The battery is well worth the cost. I only use my cell phone (no land line for many years). While I can go literally days without charging my phone, I do so at least every other day.

darkcyber, when you get a chance could you take another pic with the Q standing up. I'm curious how much bigger it is than the extended (i know its 4mm but want a visual if possible.)

And your absolutely right about the moto 1640..barely cuts a day pending usage.

Thanks

I came from the standard battery to the Seidio 2000mah and it's been great not having to charge the phone everyday or worry about it going dead when I'm out. I struggled whether to get the 3200 and decided it was just too JLo for me.
