Until a couple of weeks ago, I would listen to KFAN sports radio (MN) live using the
US Radio Stations - The Stream Center - Searchable list of America's streaming radio stations.pda kfan link It was a WMP 32K stereo link that worked directly in Windows Media. I use VERIZON, not sprint.
Now, they have supposedly gone to a secure stream (probably so u have to look at the ads on the stupid little pop up window....here is the email I got from the station.

I apologize, this is a new thing called secured streaming - you must use
our player to listen to our stream.
I assume this is done so that a stream listener has to view our
advertisements prior to listening.
Personally I think it's ridiculous. Why give up the capability?
Here's an email received from the online manager in Cincinnati:
"Correct, this would affect those mobile devices. We already have an
agreement in place with MSpot to stream over Sprint mobile phones, and
currently have 100 stations streaming already. I am not certain about
additional plans for other mobile devices, but I will keep you posted."
I let her know that I thought secured streaming was bunk - I sure hope
they can figure something out as I too used to listen via my Treo.
