Ring Tones Keep Dissapearing/Going away

Maybe someone could help me out here. I can get my ring tones recognized and play, but when i choose them in my contacts they show as a ring tone for that person, but when i go back to check that persons ring tone, its like i never set it. I set it again and dissapears again. It keeps doing that. Any suggestions? Really making me mad here.

just realized it stays there until i turn my phone off. anyway to keep it when my phone turns on again?

ok wrong again..still does it even if i don't restart. really really mad now.
