I dropped my Sprint (gray rubberized) Moto Q from about 6 feet onto solid concrete not too long ago, and lets just say that the outcome wasn't pretty. It's dinged, rashed, gouged, and scratched on basically all four sides of the phone, and I'm not a very happy camper at the moment.
I did some searching and found out I can go on
www.cnn.cn and just buy the housing, which made me quite pleased. I plan on buying the unbranded, gray rubberized housing, just because the black has Verizon written all over it, and it's almost double the price.
So, my question: Do I have to disassemble everything inside the Q and swap it over to the new housing or can I just remove the back cover on my current Q, place the new back cover on, and then remove the front cover, and place the new front cover on?
I don't want to chance anything breaking.
