Arrow Received new Q Monday, Replaced it Wednesday

So...ever since I first heard of this thing coming out last year, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The $200, 2 year contract deal was less than appealing- but I finally was able to find a deal. $118 shipped overnight, 1 year contract- Amazon.com. They actually shipped it out on Sunday, and believe it or not, I received it on Monday.

For the most part, it was easy to setup. I did have to talk to tech support (which seem to be very knowledgable and decent people) to get my Wireless Sync set up with my Exchange Server, but it was no big deal. From their on, everything worked great.

This morning, I called Verizon to add a text messaging package. (If you don't know, it's $.10 per incoming/outgoing text message without a package) The girl set it up, and told me to reboot my phone. Simple enough. The problem was, after that my internet no longer worked. Hmm...called tech support again, who couldn't figure anything out without telling me to do a hard reset. This sucked because I had instlaled 3rd party apps already. I bit the bullet and did it after I hung up (was on my way to work, taking the subway). Still no dice. Walked in the Verizon store and talked to the tech support they have. They pretty much told me there's nothing else they can do, but have customer service mail me out a new one. But before I was even able to object to that (because I just got the phone 2 days ago, I'd cancel my contract first before they'd make me wait 3 days for a new phone), the tech asked another tech and he said just give me a new one right there.

They did it, programmed it for me, and now everything works. Great customer service (even though it was Verizon's own fault), they took care of a new client right away the way they should have.

Yeah it sucks that I had to start over from 2 days ago, but thumbs up to Verizon for their good customer service.

Akakios is on a distinguished road

Wow, gratz to you on that one! I've had Verizon for years now and I have to admit they are pretty good. The only thing I don't like about their replacement/insurance deal is they will mail you a USED/REFURBISHED replacement. So with that being said, they hooked you up... as well they should have! Nothing keeps a new client like good Customer Service... now if Auto companies could learn that trick
