how do you soft reset the q. i tried the no sms message hack and cant get it to work so i thought maybe i am not soft resetting the right way.

soft reset is a simple power off, power on..

well then it must be something i am doing in the hack..i guesss i will have to live with it. iys just that the 2 messages i get after sending 1 gets old. thanks for the reply

don't deal with it, that means giving up.. recheck the hack carefully, i have seen others here on EQ who made a small typo (which makes all the difference) maybe this screenshot can help.

ok now i am confused. i dont see anything like that when i edit. i am using resco and doing the hack on the q. should i use something different and hack it from the computer through activesync.

well i downloaded pocket controller pro and looked through the reg. and it looks like the screen shot you sent. i have noticed that i dont get the first message (message has been sent) but i still get the one from system admin. does the hack get rid of just the one or both.

only the one... the other one: in the Messages screen, Menu > Options > Account Options > Text Messages > Request delivery notification... off.

i feel like a goof!!!!!!

ive seen that before and totally forgot about it. thanks a bunch. by the way with the speed hack if i increase the value in the glyphcachemore than 32768 would it make any noticeable difference. thanks for the help
