Reading MySpace messages on the Q

Just last week I was able to read all my myspace messages on the Q by just going to the regular site and loggin in.

Something has changed and I am looking for ways to get it to work.

I can still goto myspace.com and log in and do everthing, but when I try to read my messages, it shows up with the picture of the person who sent the message to me, but there is no subject hyperlink to click on.

Any ideas?

The problem may not be on your end. I'm not down with MySpace, but what maybe happening is that they are updating their site to work differntly with mobile browsers or there is just a glitch in their system.

Thats just what I need. More problems with this phone.

The hack screwed up my internet browsing.

I now get a "Login error. Ensure you have the correct loging ino and try again" whenever I try to get on the net through my Q.

And I changed it back to the oringal values and still nothing. This phone is about 2 seconds away from ending up in a million little parts next to a big concrete wall.

Ok, let's figure this out. After making the reg changes the first time, did you reboot the Q? Where and when is that login error appearing? On all internet sites or just myspace?

Yep. Followed the instructions exactly. Rebooted after the reg update.

Internet was dead at this point (kinda). It will still goto the google page but then dispays the login error and wont go any futher. So it appears that its getting on the net, but not correctly if that makes sense.

I am unable to goto any other sites nor do any wireless sync activities.

I have rebooted a few times already and done the *228 updates multiple times as well with no joy as to the internet.

I have that reg hack applied on my phone. I have kid who sits next me and we just logged into his myspace account, with no problems.

If want to take this offline you can PM me and we compare our registry keys and software versions to see if we can resolve the problem.

I had the same problem and I found a way to make it work. When you're on the message page, hit the menu button then click on view. Change the view from "default" to "desktop". There will be more scrolling but yozu can view and reply to messages. I usually toggle back and forth.

If i can ony get a blog posting to work (I can tpe but not post), I'd be golden...
