Random Q Problems! - Motorola Q Forum

So heres my deal. All of a sudden, my Q has turned into a piece of crap...haha Its so sluggish, wont let me text, wont let me receive text and it takes about 2 minutes to open up any program..

I dont get whats wrong with it. I texted something from AIM to myself and it makes the phone light up, but doesnt tell me I have a text nor does it add it to my inbox. Also wont let send a text at all. Just makes it freeze. this all just happened randomly but hasnt got better since yesterday when it started.

Any Ideas?? Ive backed up everything and Im getting ready to do a system reset but I dont want to. Hoping someone here could give me an idea or two.

You've done the usual stuff: restarting (with battery out), clearing out running tasks, storing programs & pics on your card instead of your device, etc?

Yeah, did all that stuff before I posted here.. Did a hard reset of the phone and it now works much better. Wish it wouldnt of came to that though.

Did you clear the browser cache? I've had mine get up to 10+ MB once, and so I started clearing it much more frequently.

No, I never tried that.. Didnt know to. I wouldnt think that would cause the problem I was having though but now that my phone is clear again, Im going to have to start doing that.
