Ok guys I started this thread on 2/28/07 and still have notfigured out how toi get my data from my computer to my phone. I would like a bunch of word docs, pdf docs and excel docs on my phone. I tried to hook the sync canle up but the green circle keeps turning and it never even recognizes it. I will call Verizon in the morning about this but they wont tell me how to get the data from my computer to my phone. I tried reding the replys on this thread and searching the forum but I just dont get it. When the phone is synced up how do I get that info to my phone. I understand I have to set activesync up so my outlook dont sync and I will ask verizon to do this since I use wireless sync. Also, is there a fast way to update these documents on my phone? They change on a daily basis. Someone might want to start a sticky with a step by step process on how to do this. Or it could just be that I am stupid. Please help! Its been almost 2 months and I still cannot figure this out.

If you go into WirelessSync and enalbe ActiveSync, that MIGHT fix the problem (could also be a firewall issue though). Fortunately, I don't use the VZW Q anymore, so I can't give you menu-by-menu detail. Another option is if you have Bluetooth on your computer, you can just send the files using BT PAN/OBEX. This can simply be done by right-clicking a file -> Send to -> Bluetooth Device and follow the prompts. If your phone isn't in your computers PAN, then just make sure it's set to be discoverable.

If THAT doesn't work, you could always inistall Total Commander and put the files on a publicly accessible FTP server and download the docs via FTP (probably waaaaayy too much trouble for whatever benefit you gain).
