Question plus introduction

Hello,

I just received my MotoQ today and to tell you the truth I have been sweating going over all the new things on this phone.

This is my first ever pda so I am a complete newby when it comes to this phone >.<

I have read up a bit but I do have a question for everyone

I am on the Sprint network and after I signed up for the Sprint Power Vision Access Pk I'm not so sure I can use this on the MotoQ?

I actually signed up for this to get online plus have a navigation program. But when I tried to download there navigation it told me my phone wasn't compatible?

Can anyone help me, because I don't see the point in keeping this on my plan if I really don't use it.

Or perhaps this is a nice plan and being a new user to this type of phone I don't know this.

I would REALLY appreciate any of your guys advice and help with this.

I was looking around and I did find some good posts on what updates I should download. I sure can use the advice lol

I'm not sure what version of MotoQ I have. Mine if black and when you view the main screen with icons there are 5 of them (I seen that listed somewhere in a post). I am determined to look over every post LOL

One kind of bad thing I noticed is, this phone really doesn't sound to good from the other side. My previous phone worked GREAT! Do you think it has to do with maybe the volume of the mic or ear piece? I haven't really messed with those yet.

I also had another question about the On Demand program, when I went to "download" it, it wanted to upgrade to Express Pocket?(I think was the name) and I did update it previously but didn't like how it put quotes on my main screen and I couldn't get it off so I just beboot my phone before I added anything to it. But now I don't know if its worht putting the update on? what does it benefit? I would like to have driving direction,movies,news things like that. I did see other programs you can run to view those things.
I could just really use the advice

with the original Q you need an external GPS receiver.

to get rid of the express pocket plug in, turn it off in the settings of the program or choose a different home screen. it will drain the battery. I use the 99 dollar everything plan. well worth it if you eamil, text or use the web allot. it is unlimited calls also. you will see, you will probabaly end up paying close to that anyway. have fun reading. all answers can be found here.

wow thanks! yea I had the basic family plan and I just added the $15 package. I didn't really get to much info on it. I'm going to search more on the website to see if it gives me details on what it covers.


so far I've been able to go online and I have Yahoo on it and I even got driving instructions from my house to a friends with images. It wasn't play by play but hey I'm not to picky lol
