Question about AIM

hey i read the FAQ's about aimand it stated that there is a way to download aim on your phone. Does anyone have step by step instructions to do it?or any pictres to accomplis this?

and a few other questions
-for most of the downloads here give the links to the site, do i have to go on the site from my phone?or do i open the site on my computer then download it?if so do i use a usb cable to get it to my phone?or sync?etc


this is my first post here, and i dont know much about my Q so please dont be too brutal

welcome aboard... some applications come as a .cab, that is a file you can download to the Q and open/execute with the build-in File Manager. if the file is a .zip/.rar they need to be unpacked with Winzip/Winrar for which you need 3rd party software... and then there are .exe files, some you need to install via a pc with the Q connected (Active Sync). lastly there are .msi files, those also need to be installed using a pc.

(rarely but out there are .exe files that you run on the Q, if that is the case it is usually mentioned)

the thing is, i tried before to download sync, but i couldnt figure it out, is there a thread here with step by step instructions, ive been reading a couple threads arund here and ive been totally lost

sync ? do you mean Active Sync ? there are not enough steps to make a step by step :}

yeah i ment active sync haha, well wen i try to sync my phone it cant find the thing
