Default Q won't make calls (or receive them) while charging...help!

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I need some help. Forgive me if this is already an existing topic (I did search but didn't find anything). I just got a new Moto Q from eBay. The phone is brand new, and everything looks and works great except for a few things:

1) The phone won't make calls or receive them while charging with the wall charger. I can tell that I am getting a phone call, and if I dial a number it will call and say connected, but there's nothing there. Does anyone know what the deal is with this?

2) When I make a call and am talking to someone, the phone makes a buzzing sound while the backlight is on. When the backlight cuts off, the noise stops. Any way to fix this?

3) The little rubber screw plugs are missing on the back of the phone. What...why?!? I personally think they should have been included with the phone, and I don't understand why they weren't. Is there anywhere that I could order these from?

I would really appreciate any opinions or solutions for these problems. Thanks!

Wendi

1.) Im not sure about this. Mine doesnt have that problem. That sounds like a phone issue but I have no idea how to fix that.

2.) I dont think there is a way to fix that. Mine does that and Im sure everybodys does. Its just the machine inside the phone that powers the light.

3.) There is a sight on here if you do a little searching. Search this site for housings and look at the sites that sell them. They should have them..

No, the phone actually will not make any sound whatsoever while it is hooked up to the wall charger. My old Moto Q didn't have that problem. I could make calls and hear sound (music, ringtone settings, whatever) while it was hooked up to the wall charger. If I'm "connected" on a call, I can't hear anything until I unplug the charger, then it works perfectly. The same goes for playing music or trying to get any sound to come from the phone. I think it's a speaker issue. Does it sound like the phone itself is defective or is there a setting that just needs to be changed somewhere?
