Last Friday, my Q stopped showing charge complete and now it will not show the battery icon as charged. It has been plugged for over 6 hours and still shows only 1 bar.
What could have happened since then? Please help me. Thanks!

have you tried charing your Q from a different charger? my bet is that you got the cord tip wet - not intentionally but just a mere bit. do you have a dog or a kid?
i went through 5 or 6 Q's with the same problem. the first time Verizon told me my phone showed corrosiveness associated with water. I have NEVER gotten my phone wet, though I do have a son. I initially thought perhaps he stuck something in his mouth - but 4 more later with the same problem really eliminated that. I know he couldn't have snuck ALL of the replacements in his mouth while I was not watching. I'm pretty tight on my phone!
While going through that problem, for some funny reason my phone was able to catch a charge when connected to my PC and sometimes while on the car charger. I have three other remote chargers that all refused to charge it. It started initially showing that it was connected but simply not charging, to progressing to not even showing connected.
Verizon told me that if at any point you have to jiggle the connection to get the phone to show it is connected, to return the phone AND the cord at once - something to do with corrosion that will only make it worse and there's nothing to improve from.
Hope you get better luck on a replacement - it sounds like you need one! Good luck!!
All's okay now. I took the extended battery out and charged it in a base charger and than put it back in my phone. Now it's back to charging and showing "Charge Complete." Could I have drawn the battery down too low?
Thanks for everyone's help!

I have suddenly started to experience this same problem with my Q. I've had it for a year now and have not had any problems.
I have both the extended life battery and the standard...both seem to have the same problem. I've tried 4 different chargers - 2 wall, 1 PC and 1 car charger...no change. The display shows it's charging, but I never get more than 1 bar. Any other suggestions?
welcome aboard... oppose to every morning this morning my Q did not show the "Charge Complete" screen + it said the battery was at 50%, which worried me somewhat because it was showing the charge icon.. i did something i seldom do, turned phone off, pulled battery, put battery back, turned on phone and it shows battery 100%..
I found a little note on EQ, that was about cleaning the crager and phone contacts with Rubbing alcohol. I can't even recall where I found it here though. In the past month or so, I've had this same problem. I have pretty much given up trying to get my Car Charger to work. My laptop connect works regularly but not 100%. My home charger works the best. The instant it doesn't, I shut the phone down, pop the battery and hit it with a bare minimum of rubbing alcohol on a napkin. The alcohol will evaporate rather quickly, which is why it works so well.
To expand upon this, my wife used to have an LG Chocolate. I personally loved the phone, she couldn't figure out how to work it reliably. We replaced two phones for her, because of the mini USB charger was spotty at best. Had I known about the Rubbing Alcohol solution, I'd have likely swapped out one less phone.
Keep in mind, that liquid of any kind can damage a phone. So be careful with it. Sparingly, not Daringly.
