Default Q will not charge with iGo?

I have an iGo charger for home that I used with my PPC6700. It will not charge the Q at all???

Any thoughts as to why. The tip for the iGo is an A29.

Thanks,

Bob

Probably because its not made to charge the Q. Reminds me of the time I used a different AC adapter to charge my AA Rechargeable batteries. Came home and there was this mess of metal and gunk in the charger. I think the bottom line is to use the charger for the intended product.

Yes - because you should be using the #32, I believe. Not all mini-USB adaptors are compatible...some provide power during a session and some will provide power and charge... the Q requires the latter.

I picked up a #32 mini USB today and it still would not charge the phone, although the phone LOOKED like it was being charged. Very strange...I also picked up a car charger from iGo and used the same #32 on that it and worked fine.

Sounds like it might be a bad charger or a missed pin. I work for radioshack and we have to diagnose those all the time.

I used my iGo to charge my phone on Spring Break without any serious problems. The only issue I had was the screen would not turn off when I had the charger plugged in (and, yes, I did look to see if it was set to go off in Power Management - it has never been an issue charging with the USB cable or desktop charger). Not a big deal, I just flipped it upside down on the nightstand.
