Default Q not showing profiles

Recently updated the Q, and now when I go to change profiles the list is completly empty! My home screen shows that I am in the normal profile, but I can't change. Also when I hold down home, that menu doesn't show any profiles either. Was their maybe a file or registry edit that erased them?

Thanks for the help.

^^^^OK, now that this problem is in one place. & this is all of the problem? ^^^^^
After you updated your phone (MOL 4 or 6.1?) Need more specifics here, I think but let's take a stab @ this.
After your update did you Master Reset the phone? Do the shut down & key combination that is compatible to your version of the Moto Q & then, again, using System Tools> Master Reset. (Is it in a different place on the Q9c?)
Whatever you did to the phone will be lost so back up what you don't want to loose. Hopefully this will restore everything that is in your ROM on your phone.
Let ppl know if you need more help.

I did the rest because I wanted to return the phone back to factory. Before I did the update from the Motorola site, everything was there. After the update, everything vanished. I don't want to restore the rest of that other stuff to the phone. I just want my profiles back. (Master reset and update done within the past 30 days)

Any ideas...websites....I'm grabbing at staws here....

Well, dang honey! I've got nuttin left.
Which version of the Q do you have?
Original Q w/ MOL4? MOL3?
Q9C w/ 6.1 update?
Someone will jump in here but I really don't understand why the MR didn't fix it since it's in ROM. And now wondering if you are going to encounter other problems b/c of a bad ROM?
Good luck and nice to meet you...

Lightbulb Eureka!!!! ...and not the Vacuum...

I found them...they are now listed as *.def.prof.xml - I'm in the process of creating a new folder and telling the registry where to find them (as well as copying them to my external hard drive for future retrieval)

My settings say this: (and I have no idea what any of it means)

Thanks for keeping me thinking, or I would have never come up with it...

Q2-BP_C_06.2C.00R
MP_BSP_C_02.07.61-69P_HW_P2.1

I guess that's different from the old one.
