Q kind of sluggish - Motorola Q Forum

My Q is kind of sluggish at times.

I only have pdanet running although maybe i should stop it.

its just sluggish while in the settings and such

any suggestions??

Mine is being really sluggish right now.. Its never been this bad. Not sending texts, taking forever to make a call, not being able to get to the menu, things like that. Its really starting to get on my nerves. Ive turned it off for an hour and back on, took the battery out and nothing seems to b working..

Go to the hacks section on here and do the speed hacks..(Cache ect..)Jus download resco registry editor or some other reg edit software...install it and follow thew instructions in the thread...i was having these problems when i first got my q and sinse doing the hacks the phone runs great...they are 100% safe to use as far as im concerned...didnt hurt anything on my phone...

mine has been horrible from day 1. i've tried all the hacks and nothing changes. i've just gotten used to it, but it's so annoying. i love my phone but it sucks for speed.

i can manually dial a complete number before any of the numbers even appear on the screen. is anyone elses that bad? and again, this happened from day one before i even installed anything on it. i never have anything running on the phone. i always clear everything and i reboot it frequently.

Yeah, I think somethings wrong with yours. Mine has never been that slow except for now and I think it has deeper issues then just being slow..

I did 3 minor registry hacks and my q is snappier than ever. I click to open internet explorer and its on the screen as soon as i click.

man, that sucks.....i wish mine was that fast. i have insurance but i'd rather not send out a claim and i'm afraid to take it to sprint for being slow. they'll either tell me it's find because it still works or they'll send it off to get refurbed and i won't have a phone forever. last time i needed a new phone it took 2 months to get. ya, that's 2 months with no phone.
