Default Q keeps dropping bluetooth connection

I just recently got this Q last week after using a Treo 650 for nearly 2 years. I love everything about the Q, but for some reason, over the last couple of days my Q keeps dropping the connection with my car's bluetooth in mid conversation. This is a problem because then I have to either dig the phone out of my pocket or from the center console, hoping that the person on the other end is still there. Since my car is a 6-speed, trying to dig for my phone presents some difficulties while driving. Does anyone have any ideas as to why the connection would keep dropping?

Also, when I activate the call feature from my car's bluetooth, it is the same as hitting the green call button, so doing it twice would redial. I'd like to have the call feature activate the VR on the Q so that I can voice dial. Does anyone know how I can do this?

i don't know if you tried to run a search or not on your problem(s) but i've definitely experienced bluetooth connection problems with my Q. it's never steadily held a connection so i got rid of the headset. the only thing wrong with the Q imo. good luck

I did run a search, but couldn't come up with anything concrete. Also, I'm still looking for an answer to my other issue as well.
