 |  Q-friendly version of TradeWars 2002? A LONG time ago I used to play the popular BBS portal game, TradeWars. I was wondering if anyone knew of a Q-friendly web version anywhere. |

  | Wow... when I saw this thread I thought it was 1986 again and FIDONET and Wildcat BBS were the greatest things since slicebread! You could always use a telnet client on your Q and telnet into a BBS that supports it. Other than that... I haven't seen any of the old BBS games supported on mobile devices (BRE or LoRD would be great as well!) |

| @Suture, if you can run DOS on the Q and can find TW, you might be able to run it in an offline/local/test mode.. Quote:

  |  wow.... can you say time warp :} i ran (at 1 time) a 3 line board w/ quite some warez & was (w/d)hq for quite a few decent Dutch groups such as Chaos, SWU.. never was allowed in FIDO :} that is also where i got my current name. l8er :} ps. i ran Remote Access. i feel old :}

| lol @ the responses -- I tore a tendon in my foot this weekend and am practically glued to the bed since anytime I move it hurts like a $*#@. For some reason I started thinking about Privateer-like games, and then TW2002 popped into my head. Man, I loved playing that game. I used to play in tournaments on local BBSes, and then when I stood up a BBS I hosted it there as well. I think this will be my project, figure out how to get it running. |
