Default Q Disconnecting from Vista HELP...

ok so i did a quick search and couldnt find anything to help my problem..

so here it is.

I bought a dell with vista a few months ago, 32 bit version of vista.

I bought a Moto Q (verizon/silver).

I read on here that activesync doesnt work, so i downloaded the windows mobile device version 6, (or whatever its called) from micrsofts website.

and everything seems to work ok (i connect Q, open WMD6) and it all runs fine for roughly 1-2 minutes then my Q will just disconnect. it happens both when i do nothing and just let it sit there, and when i am tranfering files. it just disconnects...i un plug it, plug it back in and it works, but only for 1-2 minutes then disconnects.

what the hell do i do? i assume this is a setting i need to change, but where on the phone? on my PC? i dont know where to turn, i have no ambition to call dell or verizon, as that will only make me more frustrated then i am now.

So i turn to you all, super Q users, for help. please help.

Mine had the same problem. Very frustrating.

It wasn't until I upgraded from MOL 2 to MOL 3 before the problem was solved.

Hope it helps you. If you're already on MOL 3, then the only I can suggest is a Master Reset.
