Q and Insert Symbol

Hello...

Just got a Q and I'm trying to type my user ID to our company's oma exchange site. Trouble is my ID has an underscore in it, I bring up the insert symbol pop up and select the underscore it makes the screen hit enter and it ends up telling me my user id and password are bad...

Any way to select the _ without having it send a carriage return to Internet Explorer?

yea, press the Alt (next to 7/Z) and then shift.. that brings up the Insert Symbol screen.

Yes, thats what I do, then when I select the _ it sends a carriage return to the web page. Problem is I haven't finished typing my user id or password.

The page comes up and says invalid user id and password.

I have the same problem!

It appears that when the "Symbol Box" appears and i select the one i want to use it automatically select "OK" on the screen i was entering the email ID and password.

is ther any other way to insert a symbol (like underscore)?

I ended up getting qcaps and it took care of it... It's available for download on this site.
