Problem with V2R Photodialer - Motorola Q Forum

Ok, so I must be doing something wrong here. I installed the trial version of photodialer to see if I would like it. The installation went fine but after I enable the plugin nothing happens (ie nothing is added to the home screen). I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and have read through their help manual but there isn't anything for troubleshooting the plugin not showing up after it is enabled. Any ideas?

don't you have to select a home screen that uses this plugin.. i am not sure since i never used PhotoDialer (nor am i planning on using it :} but that's my first guess.

After you install it, scroll up on your home screen and see if it is there. You may have a long home screen like I do and some times, it wont show until you scroll up. Have you entered contacts into it yet?

so it finally started working. I uninstalled/reinstalled it once again, but this time when I enabled it a message appeared saying that my home screen was copy protected or something and that it had created a new one. now it works just fine. cool plugin...highly recommended

glad to hear you got it working... i'm fine dialing people's number the old fashioned way :}

(plus a lot of people on my contact list are not pretty enough i would want them on my home screen
