Exclamation Problem with POP3 mail (disappear)

Hi. I already have my Gmail account configured in my phone by POP3 protocol and I already configure this account a lot of times in different email programs and PDA with Pocket PC but is the first time in WM5 and I don't know what happens but the emails disappear after is received or read. For example y run the send and receive, the account receive 10 already read emails and I exit the email area in my phone. Later when I go to the email area again and not have emails in the inbox and I run again send and receive and complete all process but not receive anything. Is very rare this problem and is the first time that I experiment this problem.

If anyway have any suggestion really thanks.

I speak a little english and sorry for any word error

I am having the same issue as this person quoted below. I have 2 POP3 Gmail accounts - my phone displays incoming email on home page and I can get there but later nothing is in the Inbox. I can only seem to get back to what's in the inbox if I happen to get another new message. I know I'm just looking in the wrong place but I can't figure it out. Even if I go to email, pick Gmail account, folders, inbox...there is nothing in it.

This issue has been addressed in several other areas, you should check the other postings because many possible solutions have been provided - all based on very different factors. For your gmail account please check that you have accurately set the pop/forwarding conditions to "keep a copy of emails on server" after downloading them. Otherwise, your mail may be deleted or moved to the archive section on their gmail servers and when your phone connects up to sync it will see that there is nothing in your inbox and delete all your mail off your phone. Also please also check that you have specified to have mails from "now on" or a certain date to be downloaded via pop - I'm not sure why this is the case, but specifying "all mails even those that already have been downloaded" doesn't work properly - it will only work correctly if you specify a certain date.

Thanks for your help. I have checked what you mentioned. I see where both you and rudeboy have referred to previouse posts as possible solutions but I can't seem to find them when I search. Can you tell me where to look?
