Default Problem Answering

Hey Folks. Total newbie here, so bear with me. I just got my Q for Sprint last week, and am slowly working through the amazing technical advances from my old phone. Anyways, I've ran into a problem yesterday and today with answering a call. I get the incoming call screen, but when I hit the answer button it doesn't connect. It doesn't happen every time, but it causes me to miss the call all together. Does this ring a bell to anyone, and is there a fix. I may just being missing something really easy and dumb. That would be the first time.

Cheers,

Feddy

I had the EXACT same issue. first it was every so often, then it starting happening more and more until it was every call. what would happen, to me, is i would hit the anwser key, it would stop ringing, but the screen locked up on the 'incoming call from' screen. i had t do a master rest on my phone, which sucked, cause i got it june of 06 and i had soooooo much stuff to reinstall. but, my Q has been running like a champ since then (knock on wood) good luck if it comes to a master reset for you.

Thanks for the response, it sounds like we have the same issue. What's involved in a master reset. I haven't done a lick of customizing yet, and just carried over my contacts from my old LG phone. Will all of that be lost as well? Thanks again for taking the time to help.

yes, it will default your phone as it was when you pulled it out of the box. You can use Active Sync to send your contacts to Outlook, then send them back to your Q after the master reset. anything else you had previously installed will need to be re-installed. It took me a while, as i have alot of programs on my Q, but it was worth the time it took to put it all back in, cause the problems are gone, and have not come back at all.
