Power will Absolutely not Turn on. - Motorola Q Forum

So I purchased a used Q from Ebay. Not the smartest but the guy had 100% good feedback. Well I get the phone and I plug it in knowing it is going to need to be charged etc...

Well when I plug it in the Sprint screen comes up and then the battery charging screen. OK, so here is the thing, after a few hours I tried to turn the phone on and it wouldn't do anything at all. Just stayed at the battery charging screen.

If I unplug the phone from the charger it shuts off. It won't power up at all and the only sign of life I get is with it plugged in and showing that it is charging.

Any suggestions???

I have done the battery thing a million times and it has been constantly charging for about 24 hours now and it does the same thing no matter how I charge it, through the wall or USB.

I know at this point I probab;y got scammed but if I could figure something out that would be awesome. Thanks!!!

Sounds like you did. Several people are having the same issue. Talk to Ebay. sounds like water damage. couple people got foreign phones. It just isn't right.

WHat I am noticing is that the right side of the keypad seems stuck. Like it is hard to push the keys and the "red" power button doesn't seem to work... Any suggestions on that...
