   |  Please help me remove this icon I recently downloaded the trial of elecont weather and after i played with it for awhile i decided i didnt like it and I removed the program. On my home screen though a blank slate with the windows 'flag' icon still appears. When I select it an error comes up that says "error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename". I searched through the file manager and I can't find anything relating to this program so I have no idea how to get rid of the blank slate icon. Does anyone know why this might be? I would appreciate any help. It's really annoying to have this icon taking up space on my homepage when it doesnt do anything. Thanks! |

  |  welcome aboard... where the icon is is called the MRU (Most Recently Used) no way of getting rid of it short of just opening a whole bunch of other programs since the MRU rotates, when a new app is opened a new icon is added, and subsequently a "old" one disappears.
