PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Moto Q with alltel prepaid? - Motorola Q Forum

i recently broke my samsung wafer that i had with alltel prepaid. it wont turn on. im extremely said....but ive decided to move on. I ordered the moto q from ebay and took it to alltel to have it activated and my prepaid # switched to it, but they said they cant do it...i cant return the $160 moto q and I just know theres HAS GOT TO BE a way around this...ive been searching for hours. any help???? thanks

yea...thats what they said, but ive heard of ppl doin it...and even if not there has 2 b a way around it. it cant be that hard. i think i just may have to like change my ESN number or something.....but idk.

It can be done. I just did it! Call the 1800alltel1 on another phone. Say that you would like to change to a different phone of yours. They will ask your security info like name and address. Then you give them the new esn hex. That's all I had to do for my q to become prepaid. Hope this helps you.
