You need to make the playlists in Windows Media on your PC. I recommend upgrading to Windows Media 10 or 11. They both have more options like changing the name of songs or specifying album or band. Once you have made a playlist, drag it into the Sync column and sync away. Also, you can play songs by choosing the band or the album so you don't have to use the playlists. Here is where my problems begin. All of the songs on my playlists are in my Q but the playlists are not listing everything that should be on the playlist. Windows Media on my PC shows the list correctly but instead of having 45 songs in a playlist, there are only 7. I hope I was somewhat helpful.

Also, wouldn't it be nice to select a folder and all subfolders as a playlist? like play all mp3s in this folder and all sub folders?
