Default "phone off" message ??

Hi All,

Had my Q for over a year now, and when I turned it on this morning, the first line of my display reads "phone off", and the reception icon has a small x beside it. I have not toggled any setting, and I can't for the life of me find any way to turn it on. I'm sure it's simple, so I'm resorting to you gurus out there. I tried a forum search, FAQ, - nothing. Thank you for your help.

R.

check your wireless manager to see if you have phone on. on my phone from the homescreen I can scroll to that area where it says phone off and click into it. from there I can connect or disconnect my service.

Lexicon,
I can't scroll to the 'phone off' msg, it goes from my appointments right up to the task bar.

Hold Down Your Home Button To Bring Up The Quick List. From There Hit "b" For The Wireless Manager.

Default I have a similar problem

I was searching through the forums to see if anyone had something like this.

I woke up to find "phone off", but when I went to Wireless Manager, there's no phone features there at all. There's just Bluetooth. Has anyone heard of anything like this?

Press and hold the home key, in the menu that comes up should have the appropriate wireless manager.

Yes, it's happened a few times on mine usually after a reset and the OS seems not to see the phone hardware any more. I usually power off and reinsert the battery before powering up again to fix it. Don't know why it happens.
