Default Phone Off indication on home screen

I am a Sprint Moto Q user and purchased my phone at the beginning of April. I am using it with a Motorola T305 car kit speaker phone. Twice now my phone has gone to a "Phone Off" mode. The phone is still physically powered on but there is an indication at the top of the home screen (where the word Sprint would normally appear) that says phone off. I spoke with Sprint Tech Support and the only solution they have to offer is to perform a hard reset, which of course loses all memory and any settings I have performed.

Has anyone else experienced this? It sounds like some kind of operating software glitch to me. I am also wondering if it has anything to do with an incompability with the Motorola T305 bluetooth speaker phone.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mr. Hockey, you are most correct about the flight mode setting. When I hold down the home key and go to the wireless manager I can switch the phone on and and get the home screen indicator I described.

Now I would like to know why the phone appears to be jumping to flight mode all by itself and how to prevent it. Any more suggestions would be great.

Thanks for your help.

My Q starting doing this after I installed the last update. I was frustrated after a week of having to go into the settings and switch the flight mode off. All of a sudden it stopped and I haven't had a problem since.

Question No go with following the steps

I followed the steps above, and the phone does show or go into "flight mode" after performng the steps or after resetting the phone.
