Phone Off - Motorola Q Forum

Hello, why does the Moto Q sometimes shows no service in the (service available) area and when i turn it off and back on it says 'Phone Off' on the main screen, and if i proceed to make a call it asks me that my phone is currently in the off state and if i would like it to turn on? What can i do to keep the phone ON all the time? and if it's off, how do i turn it back on? thanks.

I would like to know too. My Q went into the "phone off" mode and dunno why. Reset my date to 2003 and had no tower signal. Power on/off and taking out the battery was of no help. Nothing on the phone was working. Went to make a call and it asked me if I wanted to turn the phone on. Been working since thankfully...

It sounds like you have inadverdently turned the phone radio off. Press and hold the home key until the menu pups up then select "Wireless Manager". This will give you options to turn off/on both Bluetooth and the phone.
