Phone/Email/Text Message (but not web browsing) Connectivity Issues - Motorola Q Forum

I have noticed a couple of times now that in the middle of the day my Q will no longer tell me that I have new text messages or email, and it is not able to make outgoing phone calls. It starts dialing, but never rings.

I have not yet tested whether outgoing text messages, outgoing email, or incoming phone calls are effected. I do know that web browsing IS NOT effected.

If I turn the phone off, and back on, all is well. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Is there a fix?

If it's at all relevant: I'm using the black Q from Verizon, and it's about 3 weeks old.

I had that issue on my pre-MOL2 phone. I eventually had to have the phone replaced, but the issue went away after I fixed the problem with Exchange polling. Are you frequently polling e-mail servers? Does this happen to coincide with DUN'ing?

What do you mean exchange polling? I have it set to sync as email arrives -- should I change that setting?

I'm not using it for DUN.
