Default phone as modem???

i currently have the motorola q with sprint. i'm on the sero plan, with free vision... is there a way for me to use the phone as a modem without paying the 39.99 fee for this service?

Use PDAnet software. Search and you will bring up many threads about it.

If you have the unlimited data plan then I doubt they would even know you are using it. I guess since the Sprint Q just came out not alot of Sprint users have done this yet to find out. Surely there has to be a Sprint user that has tried this, anyone?

PDAnet works like a charm (Sprint Q and Vista tabletPC). Connect automatically. Speed tested between 200-400kbit/sec, depending on signal strenght.

I participate in two forums where people use PDAnet extensively - I have never heard of Verizon or Sprint cutting off service or even sending out a warning for overuse of the system.

Did you receive a cancelation notice or warning when you passed 5GB?
