Default Phone and memory card issue

I was just wondering...I have a 1 Gig card installed on my Q now. I'm running out of space on my phone, so I moved several of my MP3's to my storage card. All my contacts use these MP3's for ringers and when I moved them over to my card, the contacts won't use the MP3's and revert back to using the default ringers again. Is there a way to corrrect this problem? Also, to save space on the phone, is there a way to have some programs run off of the card?

Man I had this same issue myself. I had all my ringtone Mp3's saved to the phones memory, when I moved them, it seems as though that confused the phone. Luckily I didn't have a lot of Mp3's loaded. So.....what to fix this problem I started from the beginning again. I removed all Mp3's off of my phone, then on each contact that I had aa Mp3 ringtone associated with it, I removed the ringtone by "Edit"-ing the "Contact." Afterwards, I then reloaded the Mp3's and stored them directly to the card......problem resolved!(for me at least)

Oh and to answer your 2nd question, when installing programs on the phone, always save them in "Storage Card." That's where I have saved all of my programs, music and movie files. All of which work quite well!
