Phatnotes/Phatspell - SPELL CHECK! - Motorola Q Forum

hummm where to start.

well i'm using my Q for business, and i need to send/recieve lots of emails during a given day. i have phatnotes to help me store some of my formemails, but the ones i need to create live i have a problem with.

i'm a terrible speller, and sometimes my fingers slip and i might miss a word thats missing a character or two.

i bought phatspell, however it doesn't seem to work well, for that matter at all. anyone have phatspell? anyone get it working.

i've searched on here and every thread that askes about a spell check is either unanswered or not responded to. i find it hard to believe that with so many Q uesers there are not more in my boat.

any reccomendations? any help? i need my spell checker!

I am not aware of a spell checker that will work with the email apps for the Q. I have not checked on phatspell but will take a look after you bring it up. Of course you cannot get it to work so that's a strike against prior to even looking.

that was the official responce from the PHAT people. personally i think its absolutly absurd that there is no spell check for our phone. i need to use this thing so much for work, and i'd hate to lose clients due to my poor spelling.

accidents happen as well, if you are in my boat, i suggest you send a message to the PHAT people and get them off their butts and into development. that have the softwear to use for other window mobile products, but they are neglecting our Q

www.qoolapps.com will be comming out with a spell checker soon. keep your eyes open.

Their other products work as advertised (whether you need them is your call) so I am waiting for their release.

Been looking for a spell checker for awhile now. I use my Q for business and the last thing I want to send out is a poorly speled (yes I did that on purpose) email. This is such a basic function that I have trouble believing that no one has come up with this software.
