That is interesting. I did notice it was the new version now.... seems to work good, used it for about 1/2 hour. Will use a bunch over the next week and then decide if I will buy it. As of now, yes!

Default PDAnet v 2.0

After upgrading to V2.0, I'm no longer able to maintain a connection. It will connected for a minute and then disconnect as soon as I try to use the data.

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I'm tethering through VZ Access right now and would like to be able to cancel the $15 addition to my bill.

I wish I could offer you technical help, but I haven't had such problem with mine before. June Fabrics prides themselves on how easy it is to use, maybe you can contact them for some technical support?

Are you connecting via bluetooth, or USB? There is a proxy setting that will help keep you connected IF you are using bluetooth.... it doesn't appear to be used for USB connections.

I'm evaluating this program and like what it does. But I only need it when I'm away from my wireless network and I notice that the evaluation copy of the program phones home a lot even when it isn't active.

Does anyone know why it is so eager to talk to its masters? I'm not a big fan of inactive programs that phone home every 15 minutes . . .

I purchased PDAnet after the trial, where it worked perfectly. Now, I have trouble where I cannot keep it connected. Here is what is happening:

1. I use WMDC to connect my Q9c (that is what I have now) to my laptop as a guest or whatever (no profile setup because I don't sync to my laptop)
2. Connect PDAnet.... sometimes this takes a few tries
3. I'll be connected for a short time generally, then it will disconnect me.
4. Once disconnected I will sometimes not be able to reconnect to WMDC

Anybody have any ideas? The last time I tried to use it -- it went that way and I never could get it working again .... haven't tried since.

Thanks,
Bozz
