Default pcAnywhere and Moto Q

Ok, I know I'm so far out on a limb on this one that I'm likely to get laughed off the internet.

But.....

I followed this instructions http://www.cchoffme.com/weblog/?p=199 and managed to get my Q to so up as a Modem in Vista. Happy Day.

I setup a dialup internet connection, with my home number as the phone number, just so I could make sure phone was dialing. And my home phone rings. Really Happy Day! I don't have a dialup ISP to test an actual connection with and thats not what I'm trying to do anyway.

So last step and what I am really trying to accomplish. Using Q as modem so I can use pcAnywhere to connect to a clients system so I can support it.

I have PDAnet for Inet use, the only thing I still need is the ability to hit this pcAnywhere machine once and a while when I don't have access to a land line.

Anyway when I setup a connection in pcAnywhere, and try to connect I get a error intializing modem, error and can't get past it.

pcAnwhere 9.2 (I know its old and I would be willing to upgrade if the new one will work, and it will be able to connect to the older version at the client)

I know the newest pcAnywhere has a mobile version, but that won't help me, when I connect to the machine, Its for support and I end up having to do SQL querries, etc. and that would be tough to manage on my litte Q screen.

Any thoughts, guesses or ?
